B’zoe Care provides private in-home care services for all:
Private in-home care is non-medical support provided to seniors and adults with care needs in their own home by a professional caregiver. At B’zoe Care, our private in-home care is built around three core categories: companionship (conversation, transportation, errands), homemaking (light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry), and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, medication reminders, and mobility support. For clients with more complex needs, we also offer Enhanced Care covering chronic illness management, dementia/Alzheimer’s support, and hospice or palliative staffing.
Our private in-home care spans four service tiers:
Companionship: conversation and socialization, transportation to appointments, menu planning and grocery shopping, arranging special events, and activities like games, scrapbooking, and letter writing.
Homemaking: vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, linen changes, laundry, and pet care.
ADL Support: personal care (bathing, hygiene, dressing, toileting), post-surgery care, medication reminders, Hoyer lift assistance, vital sign tracking, and safe ambulation support.
Enhanced Care: bed-bound client support, care for paraplegic or quadriplegic individuals, support during chemotherapy or radiation, chronic condition management, hospice staffing, and specialized dementia/Alzheimer’s care.
Home care (what B’zoe provides) focuses on non-medical, day-to-day support like companionship, homemaking, and personal care. Home health care involves skilled medical services such as wound care, IV therapy, or physical therapy ordered by a physician. Some families need both: a home health agency for clinical visits and a home care agency like B’zoe for around-the-clock personal support and companionship.
Private in-home care allows a senior to remain in familiar surroundings with one-on-one, personalized attention from a dedicated caregiver. Assisted living places a senior in a shared residential facility with communal activities and staff shared among many residents. In-home care is often preferred by seniors who value independence, a consistent caregiver relationship, and the comfort of their own home.
Common signals include difficulty with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, or meal preparation; noticeable changes in personal hygiene; frequent falls or balance issues; missed medications; weight loss or a poorly stocked refrigerator; increasing isolation or signs of depression; and cognitive changes like confusion or forgetfulness. A B’zoe care consultation can help assess the right level of support.
Yes. B’zoe caregivers receive specific training to support clients living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Our Enhanced Care program focuses on compassionate, one-on-one attention that encourages safety, health, and peace of mind. Caregivers are skilled in identifying changes in condition, creating structured routines, and working collaboratively with primary care physicians and health care providers.
B’zoe serves all of Washington State, including King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties, with caregiver teams in Seattle, Bellevue, Bothell, Kirkland, Redmond, Issaquah, Sammamish, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Everett, Marysville, Tacoma, Federal Way, Auburn, Puyallup, and dozens of additional communities. B’zoe also serves Austin and San Antonio, Texas.
When evaluating any caregiver, we recommend verifying Washington State certification (HCA or CNA credentials where required), conducting a comprehensive criminal background check, checking professional references from prior care placements, confirming liability and workers’ compensation coverage, and assessing compatibility with your loved one’s personality and care needs. When you hire through B’zoe, our vetting process handles all of this — thorough background checks, credential verification, advanced client-caregiver matching, and ongoing supervision — so families can focus on their loved one’s wellbeing rather than the hiring process.
