Job Summary

The licensed caregiver will provide compassionate and attentive care to the client, ensuring safety, well-being, and comfort. The role involves assisting with daily activities, monitoring health, and transporting to appointments and activities.

Location: Multiple Areas in Washington

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Ensure the client uses mobility devices when ambulating.
  2. Provide stand-by assistance to prevent falls.
  3. Assist with wheelchair use during outings.
  1. Help client with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  2. Assist with oral hygiene routines.
  3. Support toileting needs.
  1. Monitor client’s baseline for signs of fatigue or discomfort.
  2. Provide contact guard assistance to prevent falls.
  1. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
  2. Ensure the client stays hydrated.
  1. Nurse delegation course/training is required.
  2. Provide medication assistance.
  3. Keep track of medication schedules.
  1. Maintain a clean and safe environment.
  2. Perform light household chores (e.g., tidying up, laundry).
  1. Engage in conversation and activities with the client.
  2. Provide emotional support and companionship.
  1. Accompany the client to medical appointments.
  2. Assist with outings (using the wheelchair when needed).
  1. Provide ongoing visual supervision for safety.
  2. Regularly check on well-being.
  3. Ensure client is using all necessary adaptive equipment and mobility aids at all times.
